Instead of sizes xs-xl does it go by measurements or are the actual sizes it goes by is 10-22?

10-22 as well as bust measurements on the envelope back. For example, size Size 10 shows a bust measurement of 32 and 1/2inches. Bea, B.Sotrbooks

Is this pattern perfect for a size 6 in dresses or an 8? I'm looking for puffy sleeves but can only find online patterns I prefer physical patterns.

It can be cut down if you want Used it to add to existing dresses.

Is this pattern available in size xs or small?

This pattern includes sizes 10-18. A size 10 corresponds to a 31" bust and a 24" waist, which is very close to a ready-to-wear XS. I hope this helps!

New bee sewer here, would this help me learn sleeve insert and sewing, does it have a bodice included to match the fit to?

This would be an excellent pattern to help you learn different sleeve techniques, there is a bodice guide that explains how you adjust your bodice for each of the different sleeve styles. There is not an actual bodice pattern however you would need an additional bodice pattern and would use this pattern if you wanted to create different sleeves than what was on the original bodice pattern. Hope this helps good luck!
