WRFDEC 1/4 Steel Cable with Loops, 50Ft Wire Rope with Clamps and Thimble, 6400lbs Breaking Strength, 7X19 Strands Aircraft Cable for Yard Zipline, Deck Railing, Boat Lifts(6.35mm Thick): desertcart.com: Industrial & Scientific Review: Lightweight and heavy duty, just what i needed! - This 1/4-inch stainless aircraft-grade steel cable is both lightweight and incredibly strong, with a rated breaking strength of over 6,400 lbs. One end is open, while the other has a pre-installed loop, and it includes extra loops and clamps so you can configure it however you need. I use it for dragging logs on my property, and compared to the heavy-duty choker cable I’ve been using, this one feels less bulky and more manageable. The smaller gauge makes it easier to work with while still providing plenty of strength, which is a big improvement over the stiffer, oversized cables that can be frustrating for smaller tasks. If you’re looking for a lightweight but strong cable that won’t let you down, this one is worth considering. Review: A lot of possibilites for this - I have some three trunked oak trees close to my house and I ordered this wire rope to build a support loop to prevent the trees from coming down in a high wind. I still need to do the numbers to see how high I need to loop the rope around the trees. I know it will work if I can get the loop high enough on the trees. The trees are not that large and this rope is good for 6400 pounds. Looks like there is enough hardware provided to form a secure connection for the loop ends.

Ok.
This is a decent cable but I wish it was given a bit more attention before being boxed and sent out of the factory. The one end is nicely swaged with an eye loop, as is typical for cables of this thickness and length. The other end, tucked on the inside of the coil, was unfinished and unsecured so that, by the time it arrived here had begun to unravel, the individual steel strands poking through the inadequate cardboard manufacturer's box, and through my skin when I went to lift it out of the shipping box. It's something that could have been prevented with a piece of tape, some zip ties, or a handful of other inexpensive ways. That and the fact that it is currently among the most expensive of many similar items offered on Amazon prevents me from giving it a higher recommendation.

BOTTOM LINE: 1. I recommend this WRFDEC-Quarter inch Steel Cable with Loops 50Ft. 2. The current price of ~$37 is reasonable. LIKES: - Good quality. - Stainless steel. - Very strong. - Loops are lined. - Includes hardware. DISLIKES: - None.

Well made!
If you're looking for 1/4" cable for whatever your needs are, this particular brand is as good as any. There are zero defects or flaws in either the cable itself or the included hardware. We are using this to temporarily hold a rotting tree together and no doubt it'll work well for the task.

Competitively priced steel cable kit, arrived quickly, good quality.
Appears to be as advertise, without measuring 50 ft. The package arrived quickly, with everything in the box, as expected. The cable looks fine, the included thimbles and clamps look to be of decent quality. This is priced competitively at around $40 for 50 feet of 1/4 inch cable. No issues upon initial inspection.

Titre de l’article trompeur
Ne vous fiez pas au titre de l’article et aux images descriptive du câble qui indique en acier inoxydable car après réception à la déception il n’était pas en acier inoxydable. Un détail important pour mettre à l’eau.
